Ghizayat
Our story

We're fixing how
Pakistanis eat.

Ghizayat is a premium online nutrition service for Pakistanis at home and abroad — built around home cooking, not against it.

Why Ghizayat exists

Pakistan has a nutrition crisis hiding in plain sight. One in four adults is diabetic or pre-diabetic — among the highest rates in the world. Two in three urban Pakistanis are overweight. Yet most nutrition advice in our country is either copy-pasted from American textbooks or built around quick-fix detox teas.

Our families don't eat oats and salmon. They eat daal, chawal, sabzi, roti, and chai — sometimes twice a day. Real nutrition science already accounts for that. Most dietitians don't.

Ghizayat exists because we got tired of seeing our parents, our siblings, and our friends fail diet after diet — not because they lacked discipline, but because they were handed plans that ignored their plate.

What “Ghizayat” means

غذائیت — Ghizayat — Urdu for nutrition.

We chose it deliberately. The work is rooted here, even when our clients aren't.

Tahreem Farooq

Founder & Lead Dietitian · Ghizayat

Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) · PGD Dietetics · NDS Award of Honor

Tahreem is a clinically trained dietitian with over eight years of practice across Pakistan's hospitals, specialist clinics, and community wellness programmes. She holds a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) from Minhaj University Lahore and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics from the University of Home Economics — two of Pakistan's most rigorous pathways into the field.

Her clinical years span Fatima Memorial Hospital, Taj Medical & Dental Center, Medlane Aesthetics & Rehabilitation, and Herbiotics Healthcare — across hospital wards, specialist clinics, and community wellness camps. Pakistanis at every life stage, every income level, every kind of condition. The Nutritionists and Dietitians' Society of Pakistan recognised the work with their Award of Honor.

She founded Ghizayat because clinical sessions — short, fragmented, and focused on what to cut — rarely produced the changes her clients could actually keep. The premium online service she's built finally lets one dietitian, one client, and one real Pakistani kitchen meet on honest terms — for as long as the work actually takes.

“If a plan can't survive a Pakistani family dinner, it can't survive at all.”

What we believe

  • 1.

Real food beats restriction. Sustainable change comes from balancing what you already eat — not eliminating it.

  • 2.

Pakistani plates deserve Pakistani plans. South Asian bodies metabolise carbs differently. Western diet templates ignore that.

  • 3.

Your dietitian should know your kitchen. A plan written by someone who's never made a paratha is a plan you'll abandon.

  • 4.

Premium care, not premium pretence. Concierge service means we are accountable for outcomes — not gloss.

  • 5.

No supplements, no kickbacks. We earn from clients, not from product sales. That's the only way you can trust us.

What we're not

  • A meal-delivery service
  • A weight-loss tea brand
  • A supplement reseller
  • A 50-program app store
  • A chatbot pretending to be a dietitian
  • A medical clinic (we coordinate, we don't prescribe)
